Many couples opt to have a destination wedding or do not wish to have a formal wedding in a church but still require the marriage to be solemnized here within Manitoba. Since 2007 I have been an officiant at many locations in Winnipeg and surrounding areas within Manitoba.
Such locations include the Winnipeg Art Gallery, The Inn at the Forks, Manitoba Club, Assiniboine Park, The Gates on Roblin, many golf and country clubs, community centers, resturants, park settings and for some in their own back yard. As long as you have permission to be wed at your desired location and the proper permits pulled (applicable for many city and rural parks), have purchased/obtained a valid Manitoba Marriage License and have 2 required witnesses; then you are good to go!
I do specialize in non-denominational services, although if you wish to include a reading from your choice of religion, ceremony or ritual then by all means I can incorporate your request into the service content. Please keep in mind though that I am not an ordained minister or member of clergy.
Many include wedding vows, ring exchange or poem readings into the content of their service. I have many samples and suggestions or if you desire we can work together to come up with the perfect way to get your message across. There is no need to memorize anything either, during the service you will repeat after me.
I am here to take the stress away!
I do not list rates for my services, for each couple that I represent are unique. Based on your date, time and ceremony location, preferences, your wedding nuptials and content of your service; will dictate the appropriate fee required. Please feel free to contact me today to personalize your wedding.
I have had the honour of providing my Services in Winnipeg and surrounding areas of Manitoba; officiating marriage unions since 2007. I truly love what I do!
These comments are from some of the many marriages that I have performed. Thank you again for sharing your union with me and choosing my services!

Shannon did such a nice job at our wedding. The service she wrote was amazing and she is a very nice and professional lady. She gave us so many idea's and walked us through the rehearsal. She made it so easy for us! She definitely went above and beyond for our special day! Allison and Chad, Wedding: 08/17/2012
Shannon was a complete pleasure to work with! We planned a very last minute wedding and she provided a beautiful ceremony for that we will remember forever! Lori, Wedding: 12/19/2013
It was a pleasure working with Shannon to create our wedding ceremony. We do not live in the area, so most of our contact was through email. Shannon was always very quick to respond to our questions and sent us copies of our ceremony for review. She created a heartfelt ceremony that reflected our personalities, it was perfect. Shannon's professionalism, enthusiasm, and easy going nature helped us feel at ease on our wedding day. Prior to the wedding, we met Shannon in person to go over everything and then again at the rehearsal. Highly recommended!! The Haskins, Wedding: 01/04/2014
Shannon was so thorough and sweet. She was very professional and it was such a relief to have someone who would remind you of upcoming important dates (like when to get the license, apply for permits etc) there's so much to do when planning a wedding and Shannon made it so there was one less thing to worry about. She was so accommodating and helped make our ceremony unique and "us". I would recommend her to anyone. She's the best! Lauren, Wedding: 10/03/2015
